Protime Sports increases production capacity for ClubID
ClubID by Protime Sports was introduced in 2016 as a completely new type of experience for sports clubs to outfit and brand their organization. Offering a completely customizable approach to uniform design, sublimation (DYE/SUB) technology has attracted increased interest over the past year. In order to accommodate the increasing demand, Protime Sports has invested in additional capacity to continue to meet the high expectations of its customers.
DYE/SUB is a process of printing high-quality, permanent ink directly into performance fabrics, allowing for complete freedom when designing club uniforms. This process allows clubs to choose from a library of designs, or create their own style while working with the ClubID design team to integrate their own colors, brand and individuality into their kits. Decoration options limited by cost and club branding are obsolete with DYE/SUB.
Protime Sports has recently more than doubled its sewing capacity with new machinery, and completed a $30,000 electrical upgrade at its 54,000 square foot Seattle facility. Having already added an additional Epson large format printer in the past year, the company is in the process of acquiring additional printers and digital rotary heat transfer machines which perform the sublimation. The additional equipment will be supported by the recent hire of two experienced design staff in the art department as Protime Sports remains committed to producing product in the USA, and to ensure the highest quality garments, fastest turnaround and reliable delivery.
